New Website Launch - Gypsy Tailwind

First, I must apologize for how absurdly long it's taken me to update my blog. I'm slowly working on a new site design for myself, and plan to get back to blogging regularly when the new site is launched, but there's no good excuse for not letting you all know what I have going on.

Today I launched a brand new site for the Portland-based band Gypsy Tailwind. Dan Connor, the male voice in the group, was the front man for Gouds Thumb, one of my favorite Portland bands who called it quits back in the mid 1990's. At this point, I've had the honor of working with all of the Gouds guys in some capacity over the years, (music, web, video, etc), but I'm very excited to see Dan become a prominent figure in the music scene once again. Anna Lombard is the female voice, and her ideas were very prominent in the design process, so feel free to contact her and tell her how cool it looks! gypsytail@gmail.com

Gypsy Tailwind has one album available, (you can preview and buy it through their website), and another one that they've just wrapped production on, but they're going to hold onto it for a few months, design the artwork, and build some anticipation before releasing it to the people. If it's anything like their first record, it's filled with warm acoustic tunes, killer harmonies, and a little taste of country. The good kind.

Stop by their new website and check them out! www.gypsytailwind.net
