Sidecar Radio - Music Video #2

Last weekend, with the help of my friend and fellow videographer Scott Hamman, I directed and shot the video for the new single from Sidecar Radio, "When The Easy Gets So Hard." Go have a listen to the track on their Myspace page... It is truly a rock and roll Summer jam.

We lit up the grill, packed the fridge full of grown-up beverages, and invited over a houseful of Sidecar superfans and strangers. Without giving away too much, things got pretty wild -- you will have to wait until I wrap the post production to really get an idea of what went down. I think it's fair to say that Scott and I accurately documented the night and all its misadventures. Good things are happening for Sidecar... Tomorrow night they play in front of the famous Sublime tribute band Badfish at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in Hampton, NH, for what is sure to be a huge crowd of wild Sublime fans. Something tells me they'll be into Sidecar.

BOSS - The Band

I'm sitting here in the lobby of the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston, killing a little bit of time between shooting video segments for the wedding / function band "BOSS." Miles Donahue, the keyboard player, was sent over to me by the great Jay Daly, and we have been shooting video all afternoon to update their DVD demo. These guys are super talented, and super professional.

This ballroom at the Park Plaza is pretty stunning as well. Shortly, after what promises to be a tasty meal, the band will start playing and I'll collect a bunch more footage from both the stage and the audience... But for now, I'm just waiting it out for things to get rolling again. What better than now to blog, I ask??
